AICUO Crisis Communication Webinar

Your institution’s communication plan may not have been developed with a scenario for a worldwide pandemic in mind. In partnership with affiliate member Carnegie Dartlet, AICUO will host a free crisis communication webinar at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 11.

Panelists will share their expertise and offer new ways of thinking in the current digital landscape to successfully share your message to various audiences.

Topics will include:

  • Effectively communicating to key audiences, including students, parents, faculty, staff, and others
  • Creating your institution’s communications plan for a variety of possible situations
  • Developing useful materials, guides, and resources to share with your campus and the local community
  • Using digital communication platforms during the 2020 pandemic

AICUO's Spring Workforce Summit (postponed)
May 13, 2020, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Location: Franklin University - Ross Auditorium

This summit will bring together college and university leaders, government entities, and the business community to discuss how best to partner to build student engagement and long-term participation in Ohio’s workforce. AICUO’s 51 independent colleges and universities represent 120,000 undergraduate and graduate students across the state, both urban and rural, across geographies. With many of our institutions having diverse programs, we are positioned to assist business and the state in meeting workforce development goals to drive economic growth and prosperity.

Topics will cover establishing and managing institutional/business partnerships, and how to build student engagement and measure success. The event is $55 for AICUO members and $75 for non-members. Click here to register.
