Title IX Update: Planning for Regulations
April 17, 2020, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Location: Bricker & Eckler (100 South Third Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215)

Join AICUO and Bricker & Eckler for an overview of the impacts of the proposed/final Title IX regulations. This program will focus on:

  • Communicating with campus constituents (potential and current students, employees, alumni, etc.)
  • Organizing timelines for institutional action and potential challenges with updating your campus' policies and procedures
  • Determining whether policy changes need to be approved by the board of trustees or faculty committees
  • Developing a timeline for implementation
  • Understanding the mechanics of the new hearing model and understanding the new positions (investigators, hearing officers and advisors) that will need to be a part of your process

This program will be beneficial for general counsel, Title IX coordinators and administrators, student affiars practitioners, and risk managers. Registration is $50 and includes lunch. Click here to register.


AICUO's Spring Workforce Summit (postponed)
May 13, 2020, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Location: Franklin University - Ross Auditorium

This summit will bring together college and university leaders, government entities, and the business community to discuss how best to partner to build student engagement and long-term participation in Ohio’s workforce. AICUO’s 51 independent colleges and universities represent 120,000 undergraduate and graduate students across the state, both urban and rural, across geographies. With many of our institutions having diverse programs, we are positioned to assist business and the state in meeting workforce development goals to drive economic growth and prosperity.

Topics will cover establishing and managing institutional/business partnerships, and how to build student engagement and measure success. The event is $55 for AICUO members and $75 for non-members. Click here to register.
